Our Slitting Lines

Unmatched Performance of our Steel Slitting Lines for the Steel Industry

We design, supply and commission state-of-the-art Steel Coil Slitting Lines  which is the perfect solution for slitting a variety of steel coils, including HR coils (Hot Rolled), CR coils (Cold Rolled), Galvanized, and Color Coated coils, to meet your specific width requirements. Designed with precision and efficiency in mind, our slitting line  provides a reliable and high-performance slitting solution for steel processing industries.

Slitting Line divides master metal coils into smaller coils of a precise width so secondary users such as metal stampers, tube producers, roll forming and sheet metal parts manufacturing companies can use it in production of some type of finished product.

We supply very high quality slitting lines  distinguished by their high technology which  ensures their consistently high performance. We have hundreds of customers who are highly satisfied with the timely delivery, commissioning and after sale service and professional advice in running and maintaining their Steel Slitting Lines.

We offer Uncoiler to Recoiler “hands free” threading. Our Metal Slitting Line enables the operator to automatically feed the strips into the Recoiler clamp without touching the material.

We design and supply steel slitting lines that handle coils from few tons to 40 MT and coil widths up to 2 Meters and material thicknesses from 0.8 mm to 16 mm.

Major Equipment of Steel Coil Slitting Line

Uncoiler: The master coil is loaded onto the uncoiler at the entry of the machine. Then the uncoiler uses an expandable mandrel to grip the master coil on its inside diameter. The coil rotates off the mandrel, and the head of the coil is threaded into the machine’s edge guides.

Slitter Head

The material is fed lengthwise into the slitter head, which consists of two parallel arbors. These parallel arbors are mounted with a customized set of rotary-slitting knives and rubber stripper rings. Rubber rings help pull the material through the slitter arbors, while the knives penetrate the steel causing the material to break or fracture. Our slitting heads ensure clean, burr-free edges with minimal downtime for blade changes.

Most customers want a spare fully assembled slitter head mounted on rails and ready to be retracted into position whenever a change of configuration of slitter tooling is required. It saves time as it is time-consuming to change slitter tooling to meet customers’ requirements for different slit widths.

Looping Pit:

This ensures tension-free slitting, allowing for smooth and even slitting at high speeds of thin coils. Loop pits are mostly used while slitting thin coils as the different slits tend to have small differences in lengths because of slight variations in the strip thickness from the center to the edge,

Tensioning Device:

Designed to control the speed and maintain constant tension throughout the process, ensuring smooth operations and preventing coil deformation

Recoiler:

After slitting, the recoiler winds the smaller slit coils back into manageable rolls, ready for shipping or further processing. Our mandrels are especially designed so that these do not leave any bending line on the strip. For thin gauge coils, we also provide sleeves, which are mounted on

Coil Car:

Used to shift coils from recoiler to coil saddles where these are strapped and are ready to be lifted to the packing station. The coil car’s forward and backward movements and lifting movements are controlled smoothly by hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors.
