Descaling Pumps With Symmetrically Positioned Impellers

Descaling Pumps With Symmetrically Positioned Impellers

These are centrifugal, horizontal, sectional, multistage, single casing pumps, with ring inlet and combined outlet. Special features of this pump are symmetrically positioned single-flow impellers. Due to such an impeller position, there is no balancing device in the pump design. This increases pump unit reliability when the operation mode is frequently changed from rated flow to re-circulation. The rest of the axial force is taken up by the thrust bearing of Mitchel type.

Radial bearings with forced oil lubrication are used as rotor support. Intermediate radial bearings use pumping media as a lubrication.

The vibration characteristic on the shaft ends at rated parameters is 4.5 mm/s and not more than 7.1 mm/s at other conditions within the operating range.
For pump and motor shafts connection flexible diaphragm coupling is used. These pumps are designed in various sizes and different combinations of discharge and head from 80 cubic M/ Hr to 2500 cubic M/ Hr.
At low discharge and high pressure, these descaling pumps have higher efficiency when compared to other designs.
